At Baptist Construction Inc we strive to be the best there is to office when it comes to commercial and residential renovations, and we work with our customers to understand their renovation visions. We then educate our customs as best as we can and provide a layout plan concerning the options that they have available to them that best fits their need and budget. As a result, we can best satisfy their renovation requirements at a fair price that falls within their budget.

Where my Passion Began Born and raised on a small cotton farm in rural Mississippi my passion for working with my hands began at a young age. By the age of 14, I was inspired by my father, the late James Edward Baptist, to learn and use the tools of the construction trade. My first project was assisting him with building a barn for livestock and storage. It was his commitment to quality work that had a profound impact on how I approached each and every project that I took on. 
As I refined my skills, I became highly motivated and intrigued by creating something that would be used for a lifetime. It was always an honor to visit the homes of families and individuals and hear their vision for improvement. Bringing their vision to fruition gave me great joy. Some of those creations may range from custom-made cabinetry, entertainment centers, kitchen countertops, hardwood flooring, tile work, room additions, coffee and end tables, and hobby items such as guitars and chess tables, to name a few. If my clients can envision it, I can create it.
As a young builder and carpenter, I have always taken great pride in using my hands to construct such items as podiums, church rails, benches, and doors which started back in my country church in Mississippi. As a devoured Christian, I recognize the gift that God has given me and the important relationship with my father that created my lifelong vocation. Every time I make something with my hands, I am honoring him. I am his legacy! The company has hired and trained other out-of-work business owners and youth and assisted them to gain skills to reenter the workforce.
